➡️ Salary

Your salary will be allocated by your competences independently of your nationality.
Specialist salaries in Sweden vary between 75 000 and 90 000 SEK/month.
The minimum salary during the first 6 months of your employment is gross 60.600 SEK/month, while you are waiting for your licence to practice. Between the 7th and 12th month it will be 75.000 SEK/month. Then it is agreed individually according to your experience and it continues to raise to 75-90 000 SEK or even more.

➡️ Description of the health centre

Primary care management is responsible for basic healthcare in the field of Family Medicine for all ages. The healthcare centre has to give care by need in the form of investigation, diagnostics, treatment, nursing care, counselling and follow-up. The healthcare centre has to work preventively in accordance with The National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines for disease prevention methods. The primary care is person centred and has to strengthen patients’ ability for maintain, promote and improve their health.
Your duties will include everything from acute falls to preventive care and lifestyle issues. As a specialist in Family Medicine in primary care you will work together with professionals from other fields around the patients, for example in receptions led by nurses. Apart from reception work, also included homecare and possibility for working with among others child healthcare, retirement home, health work and/ or quality- work. Work in our on-call centres and stand-by service are included in the assignment. Little by little, there will be also included supervision of training doctors.
Vimmerby Health Centre is the biggest one in Kalmar region with a big variation in patient-register. We are approximately 70 employees who work together for giving a safe and secure care with high quality to our approximately 15.400 listed patients. It is a warm and nice workplace where all feel a big commitment to what we do.

Totally 65 employees and substitute staff. Here, there work Family Medicine specialists, ST and AT doctors (i.e. specialist registrars and trainee doctors), district nurses, general nurses, assistant nurses, medical secretaries, psychologists and curators.

• During the personal visit which is part of the interview process, the cost of travel and accommodation are financed by the Partners
• Free Swedish course from A1 to C1 level. Between A1 and B2 online and B2 – C1 in the workplace in combination with work. The candidates will study each afternoon after work. Financial support during the course up to B2 (the amount is topic of negotiation).
• Free language education for family members – to B2 level for spouses and school-age children is obligatory.
• Help with the application for Swedish license to practice, supervision of the process.
• Free Swedish legal and social training which consists of 40 lessons.
• Integration assistance (assistance in registering at tax authority, opening bank account, etc.).
• Assistance in finding school/kindergarten for the children.
• Assistance in the organization of moving and in apartment-seeking.
• Support for moving: 30.000 SEK for singles and 45.000 SEK for families for furniture transport + 5.000 SEK for travel costs.
