🟥 Healthcare Assistant (Domiciliary Care) - Ireland
Patient care services at their homes with company car transportation .

North and South Tipperary and South Kilkenny/North Waterford
➡️ Patient Types:
Elderly individuals – Require companionship, mobility support, or dementia care.
People with disabilities – Including physical and learning disabilities.
Post-hospital discharge patients – Recovering from surgery or illness.
Palliative care patients – Needing end-of-life care.
Individuals with long-term conditions – Parkinson’s, MS, stroke survivors.
Respite care clients – Temporary support for family caregivers.
➡️ Care Types:
Home care (domiciliary care) / Live-in care
➡️ Nationality:
European EEA (EU Nationals)
➡️ Essential Criteria:
- Qualified HCAs or Nurses( willing to work as HCAs while completing ELT for NMBI).
- Applicants must hold an EU healthcare-related qualification that is equivalent to or exceeds a Level 5 QQI award in Healthcare. Equivalency will be assessed based on factors like the course content and duration.
For instance, short courses lasting 2-4 weeks would not be acceptable, while a course of 6 months or longer may fulfil the requirement.Also, candidates with previous experience in UK and NVQ2 or NVQ3 courses are eligible.
- Experience: Ideally at least 6+ months recent experience in a similar carer or nursing role
- good level of English language (B1-B2), for a good communnication with the pacients.
- Candidates must also hold both a valid full driving license from their country of residence.
- EU citizenship.

➡️ Key Responsibilities:
Role of Care Assistant:The Healthcare assistant’s primary role is to deliver personal care and assistance to a client in his/her own home. Healthcare assistants are responsible for the implementation of the requirements of the clients care plan, perform identified care duties and promote client comfort, dignity and wellbeing.
➡️ Your responsibilities will include .
- Assist the client with Activities of Living
- Pay due care and attention to all aspects of care duties carried out on behalf of the client
- Provide a high standard of care in compliance with the Company Policies
OFFER:
➡️ Salary
- starting with €30,000 Gross/ year (~ 2100 € NET: month)
+ Performance related Bonus
+ Paid travel time and mileage
- 40 hours per week (with option to work overtime)
- Candidate must be available to work days/nights and weekends
➡️ Annual leave
20 days paid leave per annum
➡️ Contract period: 12-24 months
