The mission of this organization is to coordinate and conduct international translational and clinical research to improve the standard of cancer treatment for patients.
The organization aims ultimately to increase people’s survival and quality of life by testing new therapeutic strategies based on existing drugs, surgery, and radiotherapy. They also help develop new drugs and approaches in partnership with the pharmaceutical industry and in patients’ best interests.

In addition to independence, the organization is recognized for scientific and methodological rigor bringing robust datasets to doctors and patients for therapeutic improvement. They covers all disciplines to fight against cancer. Their research leaves no one behind and addresses all patients, including patients with rare tumors and specific patient populations.

This role of Clinical Research Physician means participating in high quality clinical research in Oncology that serves the interest of Society.

Main responsibilities / Major Activities:
Strategy
The Clinical Research Physician (CRP) supports the Oncology Research Groups in the elaboration of their scientific strategies to improve standards of care. The CRP contributes to develop collaboration between the stakeholders (academic groups, industry).

Clinical trials
The CRP provides medical expertise and support for the development, implementation, conduct and reporting of clinical trials. In that respect, the CRP works closely with other functional areas including statistics, regulatory, operations and data management.

Education
The CRP conducts training for non-medical staff and contributes also to courses and workshops.

Profile
Medical Doctor degree with 5 years of professional experience in clinical research, preferably in oncology
Basic understanding of medical statistics
Team player and dynamic
Good level of computer literacy
Fluent in English (oral and written), other languages are an asset
