Job Description
Our client is one of the world's leading financial service providers and they are seeking a Medior/ Senior Java Developer to join their team.
They offer unbounded technical growth with 65 teams in the centre solving a large variety of business and technical problems using on premise Kubernetes and Google (GCP) cloud infrastructure, if you have proven experience in some of these and are excited to learn others, we will offer further training.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Leverage the right design patterns, algorithms, and Java frameworks to develop scalable, robust applications of which you are proud
Work within an agile development lifecycle focusing on business outcomes
Build automation to support a CI and CD pipeline to production
Contribute to the wider engineering community sharing designs, ideas and experience of Java frameworks
Requirements
Must have:
- 4+ years experience with Java
- 4+ years experience with Java Virtual Machine (JVM) languages Spring (especially Spring Boot)
- 4+ years experience with REST
- 3+ years experience TDD and BDD
- 3+ years experience with Containerized (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Some experience with CI/CD frameworks such as (Jenkins)
- Some experience with build tools such as (gradle, maven)
- University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
Nice To Have:
- Micro-service or micro front end experience preferable
- React/Angular or other JavaScript framework preferable
- Experience with Kotlin
- Epereince with Scala
- Cloud experience (GCP) preferable
Location:
Cary, North Carolina- Hybrid (2-3 days weekly on-site)
