Place of Base Close to Breda

➡️ Basic job info

- Profession: Truck Driver C+E

- Main responsibility: Transporting all kind of goods with a Curtainsider- or Box-trailer

- Possible trailers: Curtainsider or Boxtrailer

- Trips: Most of the trips are between Holland, Belgium, Germany, France. Sometimes further.

- Loading/Unloading: Loading and unloading is most of the times the responsibility of the driver. The driver needs to secure the cargo by straps or chains every time, and remove the straps before the unloading is done by the client. Volume of the (mega) trailers has to be used to it`s maximum→drivers responsibility. (Un)Loading can be done from above also with the help of a crane.

- Number of addresses a day: 1 to 6 stops per day.

- Work schedule: Different systems possible. 6:2/8:3/10:3 etc

- Working Period: 12 months per year, full year round

- Transport to the Netherlands: By own car or plane

- Place of departure (start work): Close to Breda

- Transport from housing to work: No housing, the driver sleeps in the truck. Facilities available at the base.

🔴 Requirements

- Driving license: C+E

-   Additional courses: Code95/Driver Qualification and ADR basic is a must.

- Experience as a truck driver: Min. 12 months of experience with driving C+E with curtain trailer

- Knowledge of foreign languages: Good English or German.

- Skills: Communicating with dispatch by boardcomputer.
Experience with a (mega) curtainsider trailer is a must.
Experience with securing the cargo by straps and chains is also a must

- Well Organised, Motivated, very Communicative.
In the first working periods a new driver will probably have his own truck. Unfortunately we can’t give any certainties about this.

🔴 Salary information

- Basic salary/ hour: € 18,71 gross/bruto (D6)

- Total working hours per week: 55+- (around 10 – 12 hours a day)

- Weekly salary after costs (on the bank account): € 1050,- average net (depends on the working hours) + reservations ( on top is holiday money, paid holiday and ADV)

- Payment of salary: Weekly on friday

🔴 Additional Information

For our Dutch client near Nijmegen we are looking for truck drivers with experience curtain side trailers. The transported goods can be on euro pallets, but you’ll transport all kind of goods. So it can also things like trees or building materials. In some cases there are ADR goods on pallets. So an ADR basic is a must. Loading and unloading is the responsibility from the driver.

Most of the times you’ll have trips from 1, 2 or 3 days. Ater your trip you’ll go back to the base. All the facilities are there at the base like: Canteen, kitchen, toilets, shower and washing machine. You can enter those facilities 24/7 with the key.

The communication with the dispatches goes by board computer, but the board computer has to be used also to register worked hours and all activities during the day.

The trucks are modern with automatic gearboxes.
When the driver doesn’t come back to the base, there will be full compensation for sleeping in the truck every worked day. It has to be mentioned that also the 45h rest can be made outside the base.
You need to bring your own safety shoes. All other equipment (PBM’s) will be there in the truck.
You will also have to adhere to the dress code. Track pants are not allowed (like Nike and Adidas). When you work for our client you will have to wear jeans or work pants
